August 2010 Prayer
1 Peter 5:8 say's ,"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour."
Sometimes in our lives, it seems like the Devil is paying us too much attention and we feel that God isn't ( Job Chapters 1 and 2). We must not blame God if it seems like our life is seriously under the enemies radar gun ( John 16:33), instead of focusing on your troubles focus on your faith in God, so that he may come to your rescue. If you pray, pray more.
Father I ask in the name of Jesus that you would make me more aware in my spiritual life to see what the enemy is trying to orchestrate in my life I know that he cannot do anymore t0 me than what you allow focus my attention more on the Word of God than on my circumstances. I thank you that you have hear me . Amen |

July Prayer 2010
Often times people think that if they can get someone else to pray for them who is more righteous that their prayers will be answered. Truth be told James 5:16 say's, "The effectual fervent prayer of the righteous man availeth much." The literal translation say's, "PRAYER WORKS!" because Jesus has secured our right standing with God. (1 Corinthians 1:30 ) You can stand in the presence of God as though you had never done wrong! It's no wonder that Hebrews 4:16 say's, " Let us therefore come BOLDLY unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy,and find grace to help in time of need."
Father I thank you that I am the righteousness of God in Christ. Because I am righteous, I know that you hear me when I pray. And that my prayers availeth much. Amen |

June Prayer 2010
 WHEN GOD MADE ABRAHAM THE PROMISE THAT HE WOULD BE THE FATHER OF MANY NATIONS ( GENESIS 17:5;ROMANS 4:17) ,ABRAHAM WAS 99 YEARS OLD AND CHILDLESS. GOD TOLD ABRAHAM THAT HE WAS NOT TO BELIEVE HE WAS "GOING TO BE" A FATHER (FUTURE TENSE) BECAUSE THOSE WHO ARE ALWAYS "GOING TO" GET SOMETHING NEVER GET IT. IT'S THE SAME WAY WITH THOSE WHO SAY," I'M GOING TO GIVE MY LIFE TO THE LORD AND GET SAVED SOMETIME SOON" OR "I'M GOING TO GET MY HEALING SOMETIME SOON." NO, FAITH IS ALWAYS PRESENT TENSE! (HEBREWS 11:1) ABRAHAM HAD TO BELIEVE HE "WAS MADE" THE FATHER OF MANY NATIONS. NOTICE THAT GOD DIDN'T SAY"I'M GOING TO DO IT" ; HE SAID," I HAVE MADE THEE A FATHER OF MANY NATIONS" FAITH CALLETH THOSE THINGS WHICH BE NOT AS THOUGH THEY WERE.THAT'S WHAT CAUSES THEM TO COME INTO BEING!
FATHER I THANK YOU THAT YOU HAVE GIVEN ME THE ABILITY THROUGH THE MEASURE OF FAITH DEALT TO ME TO SPEAK THOSE THINGS THAT BE NOT AS THOUGH THEY THEY WERE, LIKE MY HEAVENLY FATHER WHO USED THE WORDS HE SPOKE TO BRING THE WORLD INTO EXISTENCE AND THEY CAME INTO BEING. I USE MY MOUTH AS A CREATIVE FORCE TO CAUSE THAT IN WHICH YOU HAVE SPOKEN OVER MY LIFE TO COME TO PASS. IT IS MINE! AND I HAVE IT NOW. I ASK THIS IN THE NAME OF JESUS. AMEN |
